Get InvestingBlog.Org Updates on Your Desktop
With RSS syndication you’ll be able to get updates to your desktop the second a new article is added. I’ve written a short tutorial for adding InvestingBlog.org to your feed reader:
I prefer RSSReader, its simple, doesn’t have many features (which makes it easy to use) and it finds RSS feeds quickly. Other RSS readers cost money or require a signup at another site. This is the best free RSS Reader I have found so far.
Click Here to download the .exe file for the rssreader. This way you won’t have to unzip the file to install the program.
Next you’ll install it however you like. To add feeds such as this site, click the “+Add” button at the top of the program.

It will then ask you for the feed url, use http://feeds.feedburner.com/investingblog Hit Next and the feed will appear in your RSSReader.

The program will automatically load the last 15 entries on InvestingBlog.org straight to your desktop. You’ll be able to read the titles in chronological order. Click the headline of the blog for a summary of the blogpost. At the end of each summary you will find a link to open the entry in a browser and read the full text of the article.

Using an RSSReader will allow you to get each post on this blog directly to your desktop. The RSS reader will automatically find each new post and add it to the aggregator to read whenever you would like. You’ll get updates as soon as each post is updated to keep on top of all InvestingBlog.Org entries.
Thanks for the tip, Jordan. This software relies on .Net framework which requires a pretty large download on Windows XP, here are two alternatives SharpReader and FeedDemon if someone doesn’t want to install .NET.
