Propaganda Highs

July 5th, 2006 Written by KP

Oil has hit new highs as it continues to climb through the loom and gloom of world events. Currently the price is above $75 and it seems the markets are going to keep it going up, up, and away if they can have their way. Look for the people to question the price again as this control of oil is taking a dent in many pockets. The questions will lead to government questions, but it will fall just a tad to make people happy then do another job from more propaganda.

Enron has made the news again as Kenneth Lay was said to have a heart failure. I imagine questions are in the minds of many wondering if this is a put off or is it real especially those who lost everything they had on the cook books of Enron.

A lot of talk is around General Motors, Nissan, and Renault as they look to join forces to become a great power in the auto industry. I wouldn’t be surprised if other auto makers join together to counter this giant thought thus far.

Around the world markets have taken the upward slide out of the picture as many are worried about what North Korea has in its bag of tricks. The Dow has taken a is down 76 and the Nikkei dropped 114 points. I think these markets should rebound soon as they begin to figure out what is really going on with North Korea, but it seems once they have this problem under control Iran will want more attention, so it is a never ending game of propaganda.
