Towards the end this week many markets were moving up before the Memorial Day weekend. Today the Dow has been up over 60 and the NASDAQ jumped 12 points.

FedEx is in the process of buying the trucking company Watkins Motor Lines for $780 million.

Oil ETF’s came and now gold ETF’s will follow as MKT VECT GOLD MNRS (GDX) 38.55 will specialize in gold mining stocks. This is the first ETF to have a focus on gold mining stocks. There are other gold related ETF’s streetTRACKS Gold Shares (GLD) 65.10 and iShares COMEX Gold Trust (IAU) 65.10 have been performing very good as it rides the gold rush. Also since gold is being mentioned lets talk about a new silver ETF ISHARES SILVER TRUST (SLV) 126.70 that was released about a month ago and it has been doing good.

There are three South American ETF’s that have performed (106% - 74% the past 52 weeks) in the top 5 and will continue to do very good.

iShares MSCI Mexico Index (EWW) 38.21
